NATURAL Star Ruby & Aquamarine Ring, Handmade Artisan Sterling Silver Circa 1980

This ring has been round the world! I have personally owned it since the mid-90s, and it was vintage even then - probably made in the late seventies or early 80s. It's absolutely handmade, a true artisan piece, and the really wonderful part is that the gemstones are of such excellent quality!
The rectangular gem is aquamarine, the more precious of the March birthstones, and gorgeous in its soft, true, watercolor glow! The ruby, meanwhile, is an all natural Star Ruby - this doesn't have the perfect six stars of the old lab grown stones, instead displaying a more subtle, two ray and deep shine, phenomenon. The color, true ruby with hints of purple, is outstanding!
I wore this for years as a size 5.5US. In about 2010, I sized it up so that a friend of mine could wear it as a wedding band while travelling! This piece has been to England, Dubai, and Mumbai for a wedding!
