Baltic amber is known for having some unique healing properties, mostly relating to the immune system and reducing inflamation. This particular ring dates to the 1990s, and is created in the revival of the Art Nouveau style that was so popular then! The spangles (yes, that's a real term!) inside the gem bring light and life to the amber, echoing the great age of the fossilized sap!
