Deschutes Jasper is a particiularly beautiful, increasingly rare, chocolate brown jasper that comes from the American West. It forms in volcanic ash, and has been used in Native American jewelry for hundreds of years! This particular specimen features lots of depth and play of color, giving an almost opal quality! This ring is Native American made, with the distinct patterning on the bezel.
